Shoot…! It must be August. I know this without having to resort to what my screen calendar flashes at me. I know it because its the time when you can’t reach a good third of the people you need to get the information or assistance you need to satisfy the frantic demands from another two thirds. Mid-August used to be a relatively quite time, but this year… its hefty. Well, thinking about it things might not have been much different last summer. But certainly activity then was more rooted in desperation than in renewed optimism, as it appears to be the case now.
So what else is new, you might ask. Well, whenever we are not hammering away at our keyboards, we are trying to organize ourselves more efficiently; obtain and configure new hardware (our drive into applied informatics continues, in case you haven’t guessed), and generally do what we can to expand business. And business development has been remarkably successful during this summer, especially concerning assistance with regulatory affairs and clinical trials in Europe. In other matters, we have just signed the contract for another pharmaceutical technology and strategy evaluation report, to be published early in 2011.
In early October we will be at Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s Bio-IT World Europe conference and exposition in Hannover, Germany – whoever happens to attend and is interested in H.M.
