Whoa… These first four weeks of our eleventh year in business were busy, challenging, and promising all at once. After a relatively slow period in November and December, everything seems to happen at once. Customers who had been lying low for lack of funding are coming back as if they had only waited for the New Year. Negotiations concerning our THIRDSPACE patent database project, which had dithered during a bit during December, have taken not one but several interesting turns and have split into several independent promising avenues. The review committee at the World Ophthalmological Congress has accepted both our contributions, one on the REDWING eye pharmacology patent database and one concerning an application of that database. January 2010 was also heavy on the technical side. We completed a major upgrade of our internet bandwith. The web designer is almost done with our revamped website, which will go online during the next few days on an upgraded hosting server. Indeed this has been the best possible start into 2010, and we look forward to February!
